EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS

Consulting Connect gives all students the opportunity to gain real consulting experience by working directly with clients on quarterly basis— no prior consulting club experience required. Students interested in exploring consulting can gain valuable skills by applying to be staffed on a consulting project. Every applicant starts with a two-week skill-up, where they're mentored on core consulting fundamentals. All performers receive a certificate of completion and the strongest performers are then staffed on a five-week client project, working in a team of one project manager and 7–8 consultants to deliver real recommendations.

SKILL UP (WKS 1-2)
All applicants participate are mentored on consulting fundamentals.

STEP 3: STAFFING (END OF WK 2)

Top performers from the skill-up are selected to work as consultants.

STEP 4: PROJECT (WKS 3-7)

A team of 7–8 consultants work directly with a real client over 5 weeks.

LINK LOGISTICS

We assessed buyer engagement strategy and developed recommendations to strengthen interactions with prospective buyers. CC Consultants built skills in strategic analysis and communication.

18TH STREET ARTS CENTER

CC analyzed 18th Street Arts Center's digital presence and developed a communications strategy to strengthen audience engagement. CC Consultants built skills in digital strategy and UI/UX design.

HEALING BUS

We evaluated Healing Bus's growth opportunities and developed recommendations to reach new customers and strengthen brand presence. CC Consultants built skills in market research and growth strategizing.

REGENISIS

CC researched UCLA environmental groups, found gaps in sustainability efforts, and mapped out a launch plan for Regenesis. Along the way, consultants sharpened market research, analysis, and presentation skills.

Do applicants need to be a certain year or major?

All majors and years are encouraged to apply!

What does Consulting Connect look for while staffing?

We look for consistent engagement during the skill up and asses applicants' deliverable at the end of the skill up.

Do I need to have consulting experience to be staffed?

Prior consulting experience is not required. When staffing projects, we are looking for hard working and committed individuals who want to learn.
